Another Old Testament "Point of Grace."
His blood, his work - Not your work, not your behavioral modification.
Don't make this about you. It's HIS story, not yours!

Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Christ Alone. Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus.
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
If you lean on your work, the things that you do, such as repetitive prayers, baptisms, communion, confessions, alter calls, church attendance, and all the other good works and behavior combined and done for a lifetime it will still stack up to be nothing more than filthy rags, you will have accomplished NOTHING! It is all about His (Jesus) work and His work alone that can pay the debt, the debt He did not owe. The debt you and I owe, but cannot pay!
If you find yourself wondering and worrying - "Have I done enough, am I praying enough, am I reading His Word enough, am I giving enough" know this... NO YOU HAVE NOT AND NEVER WILL!
If you are clinging to your doing like a performance review... Worry about Matthew 7:22. "Lord, Lord, did we not do (NAME ALL YOUR WORKS) in your name?" It's not about your doing - it's about you believing Him for ETERNAL LIFE.
It's about believing that Jesus of Nazareth, the carpenters kid, is truly the Son of God, the giver of living water, the bread of life that came down from heaven, the giver of this GIFT that he declares is FREE to them that wish to receive it. The gift of the the water of life that He says any one that thirst for it make come and freely drink. (Revelation 22:17)
Yours always in Jesus,
