Does NEVER really Mean Never?

What is the “Nevers” of the gospel that pertains to Believing in Jesus as Messiah, as the Son of the Living God?
Jesus speaks of the result of what happens to them that believe in Him. He declares it results in Eternal Life meaning in Greek - that you will never die, life without end. So, one of the key things that one must believe is that you can’t lose what is without end. If you believe what you receive, as a free gift, is limited, well then… you don’t believe it is really eternal.
Therefore, you really are not a believer.
Jesus purposely uses strong words regarding those who truly believe. The word is “NEVER.”
The word “Never” in both Greek and Aramaic is a forceful word. It is what is considered a double negative. It is what’s called an “emphatic adverb.”
Knowing what I just said let’s look at when Jesus used the word “never” when speaking of the result of believing in Him.
John 4:14 > But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 5:24 > Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (Where it says – “shall not” again means – NEVER.
In Greek it implies the following:
Strong’s: 3756
οὐδαμῶς, in no way, in no respect, not at all.
οὐδέ, nor … either, nor … at all: not even.
οὐδέποτε, not at any time, never.
Furthermore, the last part of vs. 24 implies why they will NEVER come into condemnation. It is because they have pass(ed), as in already passed from, death unto life!
Moving On! ________________________
John 6:35 > And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (Speaking of the inner man. Spiritually speaking.)
John 6:50 > This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. (In the case of “NOT” in this verse it is different in Greek than what we see in John 5:24. The Strong’s definition is different in that it implies: Strong’s 3361 - but μή denies the thought of the thing, or the thing according to the judgment, opinion, will, purpose, preference, of someone (hence, as we say technically, indirectly, hypothetically, subjectively. – So… basically means NEVER!)
So, the question to ask yourself is do you really believe? Do you really believe in His work and not in ANY of your own? Do you believe it is Grace alone, by Faith alone, in Christ alone? And… do you believe it is truly eternal or is it somehow limited? What you truly believe has bearing on whether you are really saved or not.
Do you believe the Good News of the gospel? Or… do you lean more to the Gospel of Doubt? Wondering if you will lose what can NEVER be lost!
Yours always in Jesus,
